Vetina Levetiracetam tablets contain levetiracetam. Levetiracetam is a drug within the Pyrrolidine class. It is used to treat various types of seizures stemming from epileptic disorders.

Class: Anti-epileptics

Indication / Usage:

Seizures & Epilepsy
It is an anticonvulsant that works by decreasing abnormal activity in the brain helps to manage epilepsy in companion animals.
Levetiracetam may be useful as an antiseizure medication in dogs that are not well controlled with phenobarbital and bromides or when either bromides or phenobarbital are not tolerated.
In dogs suffering from phenobarbital toxicity, some evidence suggests that the addition of levetiracetam will allow reduction of their phenobarbital dosage without increasing seizure frequency.
As add-on therapy in cats levetiracetam may also be useful.
Dosage and administration:
10 – 30 mg/kg body weight

Or As directed by Veterinarian (Dosage can be adjusted for maintenance therapy and pulse therapy. Avoid self-medication & Don’t use without supervision/ recommendation of a registered veterinary practitioner).
